A sofa on a white background says "product"; the same sofa in a warm living room says "this is your home". Furniture is bought with the eye and with the emotion of seeing yourself living with it, and a flat warehouse photo awakens neither. AI product photos solve exactly that: from a real photo of each piece (taken with your phone in your own shop), we generate studio or lifestyle images staged in a living room, bedroom or dining room, always keeping the piece. Here is how it works, with prices, and being clear about what AI does and does not do.
What AI product photos are
They are photorealistic images generated from a real photograph of the piece of furniture. Instead of setting up a set, renting a home or hiring a photo shoot, artificial intelligence transforms the background and setting of the piece: the furniture is kept and what changes is the context in which it appears.
- It is a transformation, not a drawing. We start from a real photo of your furniture, not from a description.
- We do not invent a piece that does not exist. If the sofa is not in the photo you send, it does not appear in the result.
- Two styles. Studio background (neutral and clean) or lifestyle (a living room, bedroom or dining room that fits your shop).
- Built for catalogues. Website, online shop, PDF catalogue, social media or ads, all with ready-to-publish images.
How it works: from your real photo to a staged living room
You do not need a studio, a photographer or a staged home. The process starts with your photo:
- You send a real photo of the piece. With good light and the whole piece in frame; a photo taken on your phone in the shop is usually enough.
- We choose the style. Studio for the product listing or lifestyle to show the furniture in context, in a real living room with natural light.
- Artificial intelligence transforms the background and setting. It keeps the piece and changes the context, so it remains your furniture.
- You review and validate. You decide whether the image is faithful before publishing. If something does not fit, we adjust it.
Remember: we work from a real photo of the product. We do not recreate the piece from scratch, nor invent furniture that does not exist.
Why a white background makes you lose sales
A piece of furniture sells better staged in a real living room than on a white background, and there are clear reasons:
- The customer projects themselves. Seeing the sofa in a real living room helps them imagine their own home; a white background tells them nothing.
- It conveys scale and style. In a setting you see the proportions and how it combines with other furniture; isolated, the piece looks like a cold catalogue.
- It builds trust. A polished image shows that your shop cares about detail; a warehouse photo shows the opposite.
- It saves time and money. No need to rent a home, set up a set or move stock: one phone photo per reference is enough.
Studio or lifestyle: which to choose in each case
It is not one or the other: each has its moment, and the normal thing is to combine both.
- Studio photo. Neutral, clean background. Ideal for the product listing on the website, the catalogue and the online shop, where the customer wants to see the piece without distractions.
- Lifestyle photo. The furniture in a living room, bedroom or dining room. Ideal for the homepage, social media and ads, where emotion decides the click.
- The combination wins. Listing with a studio photo and, on the homepage or Instagram, the same piece staged. The customer sees the piece and, at the same time, imagines living with it.
What you need to start (and what AI does not do)
Starting is easy, but there is one non-negotiable condition: the real photo.
- A real photo of each piece. With enough light and the whole piece in frame. A phone is enough, without taking the piece out of the shop.
- Being clear on the style. Studio, lifestyle or both, and the tone that fits your shop: rustic, Nordic, classic or modern.
And so there are no surprises, this is what AI does not do:
- We do not invent a piece that does not exist. We need your real photo: the furniture you see is yours, not one recreated from scratch.
- Some details may vary. The tone of the wood, the texture of the upholstery, the finishes or the shadows may vary slightly. It is worth checking them before publishing.
- Photorealistic is not exact fidelity. For pieces with very specific measurements, materials or finishes, validate each image before use.
Prices and timelines
Fixed prices per photo, no surprises:
- Studio photo: €3 + VAT per photo. Neutral, clean background, ideal for website and online shop.
- Lifestyle photo: €4.50 + VAT per photo. Contextual, attractive setting, ideal for featured and social media.
- Delivery in 2-4 business days for a small order. A full catalogue is delivered in 1-2 weeks, organised in batches so you can publish as you go.
Do the maths. At €3 + VAT per studio photo, renewing a dozen references costs less than a single professional photo shoot with props and a rented home. And a staged catalogue sells better than the same piece on a white background.
